Add the Summary
- Transfers: every time an actor transfers data to another actor.
- Data Carriers: How many screens, forms, systems, telephone calls, faxes etc. are being used to transfer data?
- Clock-Time: What was the total throughput time from start till end of the process (24/7).
- Activity-Time: The total amount of worked (and thus to be payed) time. (Multiply with xx € per hour to get an idea of the labor cost of one run of the process).
To fill the Value Adding Timeline, we first need to make the Loss Analisys in the next lesson: The total amount of really value adding time within the total throughput time gives us the ‘value adding ratio’: usually far less than 1% (!)
