The essence of Sustainable Continuous Improvement
Lean, TPM, Six Sigma: They can only succeed when 6 Key elements are taken care of. This course teaches how tech- and social system (should) go together in ANY continuous Improvement effort or program.
To create a successful LEAN transformation, the right elements need to be present. This workshop leads you and through these element.
Believe it or not, most processes can be performed within 10% of its current time, without errors and against far lower cost. Creating FLOW by eliminating all losses is one of the keys. But there are more.
What is 'Lean'?
‘Lean’ is the Westerns ‘translation’ of what is called ‘Monozukuri’ in Japan. Often Toyota’s Toyota Production System is mentioned as the source for ‘Lean’. Toyota however, being a very good example of what Monozukuri looks like, is certainly not the only manufacturer practicing Monozukuri. There others also outside of the specific dynamics of the automotive industry.
In this course we will use the more generic monozukuri principles to teach you the essence of a real Lean organisation, whatever type of manufacturing you are in, and even far outside this industry, in healthcare, services etc.
What will you learn?
This course teaches a rock solide foundation to any continuous improvement program, based on principles and guidelines. In this way you will be able to apply them in your specific situation.
For whom is this course intended?
Operators, mechanics and team leaders can get started on revealing the hidden machines straight right away. If we want to effectively use the capacity of these machines, then everyone who is involved with the machine in any way must take part in its improvement.
Management and staff services that wish to find out what is possible and how it all works, but especially what they need to contribute to effective production, will find the necessary tools in this book.
