Please let me know the difference between Value Stream Mapping & Makigami Diagram.

Basically Makigami is a specific kind of VSM: it is much more structured and specially designed for 'non visible' processes.

The first one in English will be available hopefully in Q3 of 2010, written by me.
There will be 2 books
- 1 about the planning organization and implementation
- 2 about the technical details of process analysis and process design

I will announce it on this site
