"Hybrid Swim Lane Chart"

I have applied this technique several times, not knowing that there was name for the technique.
I just got ultra-creative and incorporated all of the Makagami process steps because it seemed the right approach to expose the masses of information, flow, with measurements. There are some other points that I do not see in the Makagami approach that I deploy. I am assuming that the Makagami method does not include these added steps to expose losses based on the fact that there is not enough information presented in the website for me to acertain the use of these "other" methods of exposing complexity and loss.
My technique is referred to as "Hybrid Swim Lane Chart" - WOW.
When I ask for the forms, docs, policies and procedures, my recommendation is to make copies and lay them before the process step where they are utilized. Physical evidence that creates a picture of orders of magnitude of the complexity that is present (I am currently implementing in a Tool Based thinking environment the following Lean Enterprise Management, TOC, Tools of Quality prescribed by Demming true PDCA thinking, A3 focus groups, these groups are limited due to past paradigms and problem solving / critical thinking ways of working, all of this work is occuring in a Nuclear Power Plant) Highly rule based - there is benefit to being rule based but inciting a positive riot for change is a challenge. There are some people at the plant that have Learned to See waste and act properly to banish it. This is a good condition to posses.
Great website. We should share and learn more from each other.
Respectfully, Todd McCann
